The Original Miami Beach Antique Show to Relocate to the Miami-Dade County Fair Expo Center in 2017
MIAMI (Jan. 11, 2016) – U.S. Antique Shows announced today that, due to the impending closure of the Miami Beach Convention Center for its planned renovations, The Original Miami Beach Antique Show will be held at the Miami-Dade County Fair Expo Center in 2017. The show’s dates will be February 10-13, 2017.
“After extensive research of existing and proposed venues in southeast Florida’s major metropolitan areas, in 2017, U.S. Antique Shows will relocate The Original Miami Beach Antique Show to the Miami-Dade County Fair Expo Center from its previous home for 55 years,” says Dan Darby, Emerald Expositions vice president and U.S. Antique Shows general manager. “Compared to other facilities that we considered, the Fair Expo Center had many more benefits for our show, including 4,500 free parking spaces, a convenient and easy location less than 10 miles from Coral Gables, and ample room to offer free truck parking for dealers.”
The Fair Expo Center provides quality facilities and resources to host first-class events, attracting more than 653,000 guests annually. The 80-acre center features four exhibit halls with multiple entry points for attendees which will also allow a faster and easier move in for dealers. The new venue aligns with U.S. Antique Shows’ goal to enrich the community by creating a unique marketplace and promoting antique education in south Florida. The center also will allow the show to provide attractive amenities for attendees, such as on-site restaurants, valet and shuttle service to and from the parking area.
More information on the new location will be provided at the 2016 Original Miami Beach Show, January 28-February 1, held at the Miami Beach Convention Center. For details about the show, call 239.732.6642 or visit www.MiamiBeachAntiqueShow.com.
