Roberto later moved to New York City, where he was mesmerized by the city’s hustle, bustle and energy, inspiring him to establish his business as a vintage jewelry connoisseur in Manhattan’s renowned Diamond District. A specialist in all eras of vintage and estate jewelry, his primary area of interest and most refined expertise is in the Art Deco period. He has far-reaching relationships throughout the international estate business which allows him to procure the finest, one-of-a-kind finds that meet the exacting standards of his loyal clientele.
Roberto’s approach to his business places honesty at the apex of all that he does. He always puts his clients first and relishes educating them on the era and provenance of his selection of jewelry and timepieces, skillfully guiding them on their search for their dream piece. He puts great stock in the stories inherent in jewelry, believing that each new collector adds to the piece’s place in history. Roberto is also intent on aligning himself with others who share his high standards of integrity and professionalism, as evidence in his choice of business associate, Lucia Boffetta. Lucia got her start in the trade as Roberto’s apprentice, where she fell in love with its many nuances. After completing the GIA Graduate Gemologist, she went on to open her own company before joining forces with her great friend as his Geneva-based business partner, forming the perfect team.
