Where is the Miami Beach Convention Center located? Where can I park?

The Miami Beach Convention Center is located at 1901 Convention Center Drive, Miami Beach, Florida 33139. See available parking lots and garages in the surrounding area with the parking garage locator. Valet parking will be available. Please note: there are no in/out privileges.

Is the Miami Beach Convention Center ADA accessible?

Yes, the MBCC is ADA compliant. Accessible parking, sidewalk ramps, restrooms and elevators are all available. Scooter and wheelchair rentals are available through Scootaround. Click here to reserve.

Are there scooters and/or wheelchairs available? How can I reserve one?

Scooters $75/day and wheelchairs $30/day are available through Scootaround. You can reserve availabile mobility equipment online here.

Are animals allowed at the Miami Beach Convention Center?

Service animals are allowed at the MBCC in compliance with ADA regulations. A service animal is any animal that is individually trained to do work or perform tasks for the benefit of an individual with a disability. Service animals must be leashed at all times. Please note: Emotional support animals, comfort animals, or therapy animals are not service animals and are not allowed in the Miami Beach Convention Center. Are there special rates for hotels near the Miami Beach Convention Center?

Is outside food and beverage allowed inside the Miami Beach Convention Center?

No, outside food and beverage is not allowed inside the MBCC. Concessions will be available during show days.

I lost an item during the event. What do I do?

Lost and found items will be turned into show management during the show. Items not picked up will be turned into building security concluding the show.

Is smoking allowed at the Miami Beach Convention Center?

No, smoking/vaping is prohibited inside the facility. Ash/trash units are supplied in the designated areas outside of the bus canopies at all entrances for those who wish to smoke.

Is vaping allowed at the Miami Beach Convention Center?

No. Vapor-generating electronic devices are prohibited at the Miami Beach Convention Center.

Are children allowed at the show?

Due to safety restrictions, children 17 and under are not allowed on the show floor during move-in or move-out. Children 17 and under must be accompanied by an adult during show days. Minors may accompany exhibitors during exhibitor access hours on show days. Strollers are allowed during show days.

I lost my badge, what do I do?

In the case of a lost badge, a lost badge reprint is required at a fee.

Do you mail badges and/or tickets?

Badges are not mailed prior to the show. Please see the registration table during registration times to obtain your badge for The Original Miami Beach Antique Show.

Is The Original Miami Beach Antique Show open to the public?

Yes, The Original Miami Beach Antique Show is open to the public with the purchase of a ticket. You may purchase tickets here.

What is the cost of a ticket?

The cost to attend the 2024 Original Miami Beach Antique Show is $30. Tickets can be purchased on show-site for $50.

I lost my ticket, what do I do?

There are no replacements for lost tickets. You must purchase a new ticket.

I attended in the past as a member of the trade, do I need to register again?

Yes, all those wishing to attend the 2024 Original Miami Beach Antique Show need to register.

Will there be appraisers onsite?

Yes, all attendees with a valid show ticket are invited to bring one item on Saturday, January 13, to be appraised by one of Sotheby’s experienced appraisers. Verbal valuations will be on a first come first served basis. 

What are the buyer qualifications?

To complete registration as a buyer, please upload one form of company/store identification and one form of employee identification (see below). We reserve the right to request additional business identification if deemed necessary. If you have attended the show in the past, your name may be in our system. Search for your name at the registration page and if found, you do not need to submit the credentials.

Acceptable Company/Store Identitication:

  • Tax ID nuber
  • Resale tax certificate for jewelry-related business
  • Store/commercial lease indicating type of business

Acceptable Employee Identification

  • Employee verification letter on company letterhead from owner or manager stating job status
  • Copy of company credit card with both employee’s and company’s name (please block out card number)
  • Copy of company insurance card with employee’s name
    *NOTE: Business cards do not prove your employment and will not be accepted.

Exhibitor

When can I start setting up my booth?

Exhibitor move in for ANTIQUE dealers is Tuesday, January 9 from 6am – 7pm. Move in for ANTIQUE and JEWELRY exhibitors is Wednesday, January 10 from 7am – 7pm and Thursday, January 11 from 7am – 11am.

Can I come early on show dates to set up my booth?

Yes, exhibitors will be permitted access to the show floor 2 hours prior to show open. Please remember to bring your photo ID as badges will be checked during exhibitor access hours prior to the show.

Do I need insurance?

Yes, all exhibitors are required to have their own insurance. The Original Miami Beach Antique Show does not provide any type of insurance coverage for the property and/or personnel of exhibiting companies. Exhibitors must maintain insurance and show proof that meets the requirements outlined in the insurance section of the service manual.

Can I store my empty boxes in or around my booth?

No, the storage of empty boxes, crates or cartons is not permitted on the show floor. In addition, equipment, packing materials and wooden pallets are not allowed to be stored behind your booth. Space behind booths should remain free as they are utility aisles. Fire Marshal will request exhibitor(s) to remove any items stored behind booths. There will be a designated area on show site to keep empty crates, cartons and boxes. Please be certain to mark each with your company name and booth number.

Can I leave merchandise in my booth overnight?

Exhibitors are not permitted to leave any jewelry in showcases overnight, whether or not the cases are locked, unless private guard service has been secured for the booth. Exhibitors who require private guards must employ the official security contractor.

Will there be security on-site?

The Original Miami Beach Antique Show, Show Management makes every effort to provide protection for exhibitors’ merchandise and displays. Show management will provide perimeter guard service on a 24-hour basis, starting with move-in until move-out. If private guard service is needed, exhibitors must employ the official security contractor. Additionally, the Miami Beach Police Department will have a presence during the show, including overnight K-9 units.

Will WiFi be available at the show?

Internet services are not included with your booth package. If you require these services for your booth, please place your order with SmartCity online or call (888) 446-6911.

Can I ship items prior to move-in?

Yes, both advance shipments and direct shipments can be made. See Advanced Warehouse shipping labels here.  Warehouse shipment deadline is January 10, 2023. Direct shipments to the Miami Beach Convention Center may arrive beginning on January 17, 2023. See Direct shipping labels here.

How do I order items for my booth?

To order items for your booth (i.e: showcases, lights, safes, etc.) please visit the Exhibitor Resource Center of the website to access the show order forms.

I received an email/phone call about my hotel or attendee lists. Is this legitimate?

Please be aware of solicitations for hotels, advertising and purchasing attendee lists. All legitimate affiliations will be displayed through your exhibitor console or our website. Please contact show management directly if you have any questions.
